vTF-77 Maintains a Joint Training Aggressor Forces Sqn. They are dedicated to providing PvP aggressor training for our task force. Pilots in JTAF stand in as OpFor during campaigns and one-off missions.

JTAF primarily employs the F-16C Viper as its standard aggressor airframe. However, upon completing combat qualification, JTAF pilots may also operate additional aircraft, including the F-4E Phantom II, Mirage F-1, MiG-29, and MiG-21bis. These airframes are available to fulfill specific aggressor roles, providing flexibility in adversary training.

JTAF is currently commanded by LtCol "Dragon" Libke (CO).

Slots Available

12 Full-Time Aggressor Pilots (F-16C) -Open

A minimum of 50% attendance is requested, pending real-life circumstances

Opportunity to dual-qualify on other airframes on completion of F-16C training. ​

Slots for reserve members are open internally based on the completion of training and dependent on agreed terms of participation.​

Membership Requirements

Minimum age of 18

Regular attendance to Tuesday and Thursday training nights at 2000 PST

Life comes first. If you are unable to attend for any reason, all we ask is you notify your squadron leadership via the Leave of Absence channel. You will never be penalized for missing a night if you put in a LoA​

Willingness to self-study read provided materials, and schedule times with Instructor Pilots

Fortitude to sit through dad jokes, adult humor, and assorted shenanigans

Hands-on Throttle and Stick (HOTAS)

Head-tracking solution OR a Virtual Reality headset

Ability to use Discord and SRS (or at least willingness to learn)

Ownership of: DCS F-16C Module, Syria, Persian Gulf, Supercarrier, and additional aggressor modules as needed.
